The iconic characters of these films are everywhere to be found on the new Art of Animation Resort, which will offer a magical, fun and luxurious experience for all the family. The Nemo and Cars Family Suites are open and available for booking, while the Lion King and the Little Mermaid ones will be inagurated in August 10. However, the more than a thousand suites and the 834 standard rooms are not nearly everything this fantastic 350 million dollar complex has to offer to its lucky guests.
Art of Animation Resort’s features
Your imagination is the limit when finding things to do at the Art of Animation Resort, as it presents endless possibilities in leisure and recreation for all ages. The amazingly decorated themed rooms, which can welcome up to six guests, are only the place where all the fun starts.
Located next to the Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, the resort offers free transportation services to and from the park, making your stay extra enjoyable. Inside the hotel you can find three amazing swimming pools, the Finding Nemo one being the largest. This jaw-dropping decorated pool lies on the namesake courtyard and has a pool bar nearby. The Cars and The Little Mermaid courtyards, which are adjacent to it, offer two smaller but equally fun pools. Other amenities include self-service laundry facilities, childcare, a video arcade, interactive play areas, and a colourful and varied food court with different choices in familiar homely meals and “grab and go” market selections.
Family Suites as comfortable as you can imagine, with a master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, three sleeping and a spacious living room with a dining table that turns into a bed. Nevertheless, the most important innovation made by the Art of Animation is that they are actually affordable, as after its completion, more than half of the rooms will be considered of “moderate” value. Another remarkable aspect of the excitingly decorated rooms is the fact that they are key-less. Guests will not have to carry slot opening cards, which can be easily damaged by moisture, as they will be given special cards using “radio frequency identification” to open the door when they are only a few inches away from the room. Forget about juggling with your keys while taking care of your luggage and small children!
To prove that Disney cares about their visitors and wants to provide them with the best possible experience, all guests are required to inform the staff about personal preferences and even possible allergies, data that will be stored in the mentioned electronic cards. There are rooms perfectly conditioned for guests with disabilities, as well as it is strictly forbidden to smoke outside the marked smoking areas.
