Yacht Weekend in Punta del Este
This summer promises a trip to Uruguay that you will never forget. The best of Punta del Este and some of the most recommended destination for tourism in Uruguay will participate, during three days of Punta del Este’s Yacht Weekend.
It will all start on Friday, January 7th, 2011 at 11am in El Torreon Club, located in the homonymous building, in the first stop of the “Mansa” beach. A welcoming cocktail will be the beginning of a series of recreational and nautical activities in the Gorriti Island. Yachts will then sail from the harbor to the Island, which is only 5 minutes away from the beaches of Punta del Este.
A deck of 40×4 meters will become a floating catwalk on the bay of the Gorriti Island. You will be able to moor different types of boats there and will also have a chance to access the VIP sector, the catamaran or the bar. The backstage area and the DJ’s stall will also be located on the deck itself.
The activities, which include international and local shows, raffles, championships, fashion shows and after-beach evenings, will continue until Sunday, January 9th at 10pm .This summer holidays in Uruguay, Punta del Este and the Gorriti Island are the places to be!
