Only 30% of the earth surface is covered by land, the rest is water, mostly salty water forming oceans. In the thousands of Islands that dot oceans, and seas, some are true paradises. They have impressive beaches, coral reefs, rich biodiversity, and much more. Some billionaires own them; Richard Branson has one. They offer the ultimate comfort, tranquility, and relaxation. If you cannot buy one, definitely you can visit one. Here are some of the coolest Islands on earth.

Boracay, Philippines

The republic of Philippines is an Archipelago of over 7,000 islands. This is a huge number of Islands you will agree with me, and believe me, there are some true paradises in the 7,000. A case in point is the Island of Boracay. This Island has consistently ranked as one of the most glamorous in the world. It features a 2.5 miles stretch of white sand, and deep clear waters. The in land is impressive too.

Bali, Indonesia

Bali, Indonesia was the site of one of the most deadly attacks on tourists in 2002. Ten years later, tourists are flocking back to the Island in big numbers. Security has greatly improved, and visitors now have a chance of exploring the paradise that is Bali. Its cools due to its vibrant nightlife, impressive beaches, amazing sunsets, well organized rice paddy fields, and rich historical lessons of the local Balinese.

Galapagos, Island

Galapagos Island, Ecuador was defined to the world, largely thanks to the work of Charles Darwin. Sicily, Italy

Sicily receives 300-days of sunshine per year that brighten this Island rich in both Greek, and Roman pieces of architecture. History aside, the Island is the best place to be for the best of Italian Cuisine, not forgetting the beaches.
