From vast deserts to snow-capped mountains to sandy white beaches, Mexico is loved for a good reason.  Don’t believe it yet? Here are some of the reasons why people can’t get enough of Mexico, and why you should travel there.

The Great Prices

Mexico’s currency is the peso which, when compared to currencies like the dollar and the euro, has a favorable exchange rate that offers great value for your trip cost.  People looking for a good deal combined with a fantastic experience will love the great deals.

From accommodation to food costs, Mexico is a very affordable place to travel, and let’s face it— everyone loves a good deal.

There are so many different wonderful foods to try in Mexico.  Whether you’re looking for an authentic street food experience or a fine dining five-course meal, you’ll find it in Mexico.  There are many different regional dishes to try, which you’ll be sure to love.

Make no mistake about it; Americanized Mexican food is nowhere near what authentic Mexican food is.  If you’ve eaten at Taco Bell or a local Mexican restaurant and think that’s what Mexican food is, then you’re in for a real surprise.

The Music

Mexicans are known for celebrating their joy of life through music.  From Mariachi to live rock, Mexico has no shortage of amazing musical performances that you’ll love.

Mexicans love to blast music loudly from their windows and live life to the fullest.  Whether it’s on a Sunday afternoon or a Friday night, you’ll always hear someone strumming a guitar or playing a radio.  Mexicans love music!

The People

Mexicans are known for being some of the friendliest people on the planet.  Whether you’re asking someone for directions or ordering a margarita in a bar, chances are you’ll be greeted with a big smile and a welcoming demeanor.

Despite the reputation Mexico has for crime, most of the time, you’ll feel quite safe and welcomed by the people you’ll meet. Most people are wonderful and willing to help you out if you need it!

The Markets

You’ve never really been to a market until you’ve gone to the markets in Mexico.  From fresh herbs and spices to gorgeous handmade clothing, the markets in Mexico are dazzling and full of action.

Some people travel to Mexico specifically for the “Tianguis.”  Whatever it is that you’re looking for, chances are you’ll find it and more at a Mexican market!
